Less is more

The best traumatic brain injury rehabilitation for any patient is always unique. I have been advised by many healthcare professionals and I’ve tried many methods. So far I’ve sticked into a few. They are all linked into treating my body somehow and they are simple. Things like what you eat, when you eat it, where and how you exercise. Also resting well and sleep in general are super important. The headline of the post does not consider either of them!

The beginning of today was very calm and sunny. I went into a nearby park and breath.

I have learned many things this far on my rehabilitation journey. Many of them consider only my TBI rehabilitation, but I’ve learned also a lot considering life in general. So many things I wish I had known when I was younger, when I was an upcoming athlete! One thing I’ve learned during these years is, that you don’t always have to do everything. You can’t do everything. You should do fewer things and dwell into them completely.

I still have a few full on holiday-days left and on those I want to especially focus in being gentle to myself and everyone around me. If I’m going to do something I want to put my focus into it.
